What is the Ideal Gas Equation ?

The ideal gas law gives a simple relationship between the pressure, volume and temperature of a gas: PV = nRT where p is the pressure, V is the volume, n is the number of moles, R is the gas constant and T is the temperature. If any three of p, V, n and T are known, the remaining variable can be calculated.
