Stuck and due tomorrow at 8. any advice would be great.

What peaks in the Ir are indicative of the loss of the 1-hexene starting material and the fornmation of the desired 1-hexanol?

There is no peak given and my professor said refer to the notes that i lost from last semster. Completely lost

There should be absorption peaks for C=C stretch in alkenes at 1680 – 1620 cm-1. Also the C-H stretch in C = C – H at around 3095 – 3010 cm-1

As for the C-OH group there will be a broad absorption peak typical of hydroxyl groups in the region 3570 – 3200 cm-1 for H bonded O-H stretch and at 3650 – 3590 cm-1 for non H bonded O-H stretch.
