Structures 1 sand 2 are isomeric compunds with the molecular formula C9H14 and both from 1-ethyl-4-methylcyclohexane with catalytic hydrogenation.  However, upon ozonolysis follow my oxidative workup each makes different structures.

The structures each makes are attached.

Some explanation would be helpful since I am studying for finals

**The one labeled structures 2 has 7 carbons and another double bonded oxygen on the third one pointing up
