Which of the following has the greatest mass" an egg or an egg-sized volume of deionized water and why?

Say what now? I'm not really sure about the density or volume of a hypothetical egg.
If I had to guess, however.. I'd say the egg has more mass because of the probably higher density of the stuff inside.

I actually thought this was a fun question. Anyone who has ever boiled an egg would hopefully recognize that it is more dense than water since it will sink. Thus its density is greater than that of water.

Looks like an at home experiment to me.
Whole egg sinks in pan of water.
So, egg more dense than water,
therefore, egg has more mass than volume
