which one is the limiting reagent in this reaction?
3CH3-(CH2)5-CH=CH2
---THF.BH3-->
[CH3(CH2)7]3B
---H2O2,OH- -->
3CH3-(CH2)7-OH
1-octene Trioctylborane 1-octanol
1-octene --> 112.22 g/mol ; 210 microliters
Borane.THF (1M) --> 500 microliters
Sodium hydroxide (3M) --> 40 g/mol; 300 microliters
Hydrogen peroxide (30%) --> 34.01 g/mol; 300 microliters
please explain so i can understand, thanks so much :]

Find the density of octene and work out the mass of 210 uL.
Find the number of moles of THF.BH3 using volume in L x Molarity
Find the molar mass of THF.BH3 and then find the mass of the number of moles just calculated.
From the equation, 3 mole octene react with 1 mole of THF. From the mases of these decide which is the limiting reactant of the two using the masses calculated.
Find the mass of trioctylborane made.
I don't know the next reaction but assume that 1mole H2O2 and 1 mole OH- are needed to react with 1 mole of trioctylborane.
Find the mass of NaOH from volume, molarity and molar mass
Find the mass of H2O2 using % and volume.
Compare reacting ratios in the equation and decide which ls limiting.
There could more than one reactant limiting.
