A. What is the symbol for this element? 
B. What is the atomic number of this element? 
C. How many unpaired electrons does an atom of this elelemt have? 
D. How many valence electrons does an atom of this elelemt have? 
E. How many inner shell electrons does an atom of this element have? 
F. What is the highest occupied energy level for this element? 

ok i know that..
A. S or Sulfur
B. 16
C.?? 2 , 0??
D.6
E.10
F. 3p

Your answers are correct, but you seemed to be confused about 

C. How many unpaired electrons does an atom of this elelemt have? 

I thought my electronic configuration might give you some help. Maybe completing an electron orbital box diagram would be better for your understanding.
