I know this is a lot of work.. but I honestly have NO CLUE how to do these. I did the ones I can, and these are the ones I have left. I looked at examples int he book, and tried to look for help online. but I have no other choices left.

1.   Which of the following ionic compounds are soluble in water?
 Soluble Insoluble Calcium carbonate
 Soluble Insoluble Lead(II) iodide
 Soluble Insoluble Sodium sulfide
 Soluble Insoluble Barium sulfate
 Soluble Insoluble Lead(II) nitrate
 Tries 0/5

2. Determine net ionic equations, if any, occuring when aqueous solutions of the following reactants are mixed.
Select "True" or "False" to indicate whether or not the stated reaction (or "no reaction") correctly corresponds to the expected observation in each case.

 True False Lead(II) nitrate and sodium chloride; Pb 2+ (aq) + 2Cl - (aq)  PbCl 2 (s)
True False Calcium acetate and sodium carbonate; Ca 2+ (aq) + CO 3 2- (aq)  CaCO 3 (s)
True False Sodium bromide and hydrochloric acid; No reaction occurs.
 True False Nickel(II) chloride and lead(II) nitrate; Pb 2+ (aq) + 2Cl - (aq)  PbCl 2 (s)
True False Ammonium sulfate and barium nitrate; No reaction occurs.

3.

Select the correct, balanced molecular equation from the list (A - J), for each of the suggested reactions.

 A B C D E F G H I J MnSO 4 (aq) + NaOH (aq)

 A B C D E F G H I J HNO 3 (aq) + KOH (aq)

 A B C D E F G H I J Ni(OH) 2 (s) + HCl (aq)

It appears your learning about sreactions in aqueous solutions, in you text you will find tables, such as

Solubility Table
Rules for assigning oxidation number

The key to using these these two charts is use the rules "in order" If the stated rule does not apply, then move to the next.

They're in the text, that why they make you buy one.
